All old houses will lead you here.
They sell high end hardware for windows and doors. Very pricey but nice stuff. Example: Custom picture rail hooks.
The best deal: They sell old fashioned cafe curtain hooks and will cut the metal bar to length. Great if you want to make your own curtains.
They are very knowledgeable, but it helps if you know what you are looking for.

Crown City Hardware and Berg Hardware are two places that any do-it-yourselfer home owner needs to know about.
Where Berg has "bolts and nuts hardware", this place has "homeowners hardware" - cabinet hinges, drawer pulls, old plumbing parts and other things for 1920s/1930s/1940s houses.
GOOD PLACE. Highly Recommended. Newbies to the area need to visit this place so that when something breaks you will know where to come...
